3-Minute Wish-Setting Practice
Time needed: 3 minutes (1 minute each)
Setting: Morning or whenever needing direction
Purpose: Setting gentle intention through heartfelt wishing
Heart Listening (60 seconds)
What: Place hand on heart, breathe gently:
- Ask "What does my heart wish for today?"
- Let first authentic answer arise
- Notice if it's for yourself or others
- Hold wish gently without forcing
Notice: What naturally emerges, where wish lives in body, how it feels different from "goals"
Why: Accesses deeper knowing, builds self-connection, creates authentic direction
Wish Anchoring (60 seconds)
What: Give shape to your wish:
- Find one word that captures essence
- Create simple gesture representing wish
- Imagine wish as color or texture
- Choose tiny action to honor wish
Notice: How wish feels when expressed differently, what makes it tangible, how to carry it
Why: Transforms abstract to concrete, creates sensory reminder, makes wish accessible
Wish Release (60 seconds)
What: Set wish in motion:
- Whisper wish aloud
- Imagine releasing it to day ahead
- Let go of specific outcomes
- Trust wish to unfold naturally
Notice: Difference between controlling and allowing, how release feels, what becomes possible
Why: Reduces attachment to outcomes, enables organic unfolding, maintains gentle intention
