Setting: When feeling boundary challenges
Purpose: Refreshing personal limits and strengthening boundary capacity
Boundary Awareness (90 seconds)
What: Notice current boundary state:
- Take three centering breaths
- Scan where you feel boundary pressure
- Notice physical sensations of boundary stress
- Identify where "yes" and "no" feel unclear
- Recognize any resentment, frustration or depletion
- Honor these as important boundary signals
Notice: Where boundaries feel porous or rigid, what your body communicates about limits, how energy flows
Why: Creates boundary awareness foundation, honors body wisdom, enables conscious choice
Boundary Clarification (90 seconds)
What: Define personal limits:
- Ask yourself these questions:
• What matters most to me right now?
• Where is my energy being drained?
• What would feel like enough space?
• What am I actually responsible for?
• Where do I need firmer edges?
- Identify one boundary that needs refreshing
Notice: What becomes clear when questioned, where relief appears, what boundary adjustments emerge
Why: Creates internal clarity, reduces ambivalence, enables boundary definition
Boundary Implementation (120 seconds)
What: Activate boundary practice:
- For chosen boundary area:
• Create simple language to express limit
• Practice saying no/setting parameter
• Identify first small boundary action
• Anticipate challenges and responses
• Visualize maintaining boundary calmly
- Plan when/how to implement
