Time needed: 3 minutes (60-60-60 seconds)
Setting: When seeking fresh perspective or before trying something new
Purpose: Awakening exploratory mindset and reducing hesitation
Curiosity Spark (60 seconds)
What: With something new you're considering or encountering:
- Ask three "I wonder..." questions about it
- Notice what aspect naturally draws your interest
- Imagine what might surprise you about it
- Consider what you might learn through direct experience
Notice: Where curiosity creates energy in body, how questions reduce pressure, what you're genuinely interested in
Why: Shifts from performance to exploration mindset, reduces perfectionism, awakens intrinsic motivation
Novelty Calibration (60 seconds)
What: For your new experience:
- Identify element that feels most comfortable/familiar
- Find aspect that feels most challenging/unknown
- Determine small step that balances both
- Set tiny initial goal focusing on experience not outcome
Notice: Where excitement meets hesitation, what sized step feels energizing not overwhelming, how body responds to right-sized challenge
Why: Creates appropriate challenge level, builds approach motivation, reduces threat response
Curious Explorer Embodiment (60 seconds)
What: Physically prepare for new experience:
- Adjust posture to be open and receptive
- Take three breaths with "beginner's mind"
- Imagine looking through eyes of curious explorer

- Create small physical gesture representing openness
